          How do I connect to the SU network at home?

        | COST FOR STAFF |  
        | Currently the cost registration of a username on the network is R318-00 for permanent staff. Please take note that the internet fee is only levied on the “primary username”. If you have more than one username linked to your SU number, the internet fee will only be levied once. (For example generic departmental usernames). Internet is free for students using their student number@sun email. If you are a postgraduate student or working in a department and you have a separate "friendly" username, the standard fee as explained above applies. Apart from internet usage the levy also covers overhead costs for IT infrastructure and administration.  |  |
